Yesterday, while waiting to be attended in a Venezuelan clinic, I decided to have a latte coffee. Even though it was a take out order, I was shocked by hearing the charged price: 38 Bolívares… that is 1,16% of the minimum salary in Venezuela. May it be said that Venezuela was once an international recognized coffee producer, a high quality one… So, after Maduro set #PaquetazoRojo economic measures this week, coffee prices to consumers rose 150%. Even though last December Maduro order the wages to rise 10% for it to be BsF. 3, 270.3 according to #GacetaOficial No. 40327, Venezuelans are poorer and poorer… nothing beats close to 60% inflation… May God save Venezuelan’s savings….
