Since April 1, 2014 in Santa Fe, a suburb of Caracas neighbors were victims of repression and attacks by the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) and the National Police. A neighbor of that area of Caracas who prefer for safety stay anonymous commented: “the attack was totally unreasonable, it was awful. It is like being in a war: sirens sounded, young people shouting desperately, guards striking against the buildings, firing until 2 in the morning. Not even pray make me feel safe, I just keep thinking what the guards were doing to the students and the rest of the people who was protesting”.
